I think his life outside of Truckingboards was getting to busy for him to spend much time here.
Hopefully he'll be back some day

Dopie was managment with a level head. His ideas were different sometimes but impressed me as being intelligent about the trucking industry. I miss his postsApostolic said:Who is this Dopie Opie?
I've seen many posts about this name.
I'm from UPS Freight but read most of the other forums.
I've seen this name here, and if someone on this thread wouldn't mind inlighting me to who this is I will say thank you.
But if you just want to keep this as your companys inside joke, sorry for asking.
I see one of your drivers all of the time at a Lowes store on my route,he's out of Syracuse NY.
He speaks very highly of your company, and enjoys working there.
We've talked about the Smith System.
I'm a new driver trainer for UPS Freight.
He says a driver trainer goes with his terminals drivers once a year for a refresher, than he photo copys his certificate, sends it to his personal vehicles insurance provider for a 10% discount for safe drivers.
Now I say this guys really thinking.
Boy, I guess I should not have used the handle "Opie" here. Opie has been my nickname since I was 14 years old.
