O.k. If you have full time dock workers in your barn then displaced road or city can slide in those spots right?
Now, what happens to the road driver classification? He will now be at the bottom of the city board, so he will be classified as a city driver and bid with the city, correct? Or will he be classified as something different.
Alright then what happens to the city driver that gets laid off? The city driver can also bump back to a full time dock job. What is his classification? He can't be a city driver he got displaced, so will he be classified as full time dock? Will he still be considered a driver with the company?
Will he go to full time dock pay?
If you have full time dock worker who has a cdl. Can he be bumped out of a job by a qualified road or city driver?
Too much confusion!! Does anyone know if there is writing in a book somewhere on layoff's or is mgmt. making this up as they go?
