Doug was a good friend of mine as well as a co-driver when we ran sleeper teams at All American Transport after the merger with Mid Continent Express in the '70's. He was a big man with an even bigger heart who never forgot his friends. I will not forget him either. He passed away just after Christmas on 12/29/16 at the age of 86.My wife and I were fortunate to have had the chance to visit with him at his home the day before he died. My wife called him "a great big Teddy Bear", a description that fit him. He will be missed. RIP, Doug.
