Suspected drunk and high driver crashes FedEx truck into house in Houma

Police in Houma have arrested a man accused of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol and crashing a FedEx truck into a home.

“The driver of the truck, 31-year-old Michael Smith, failed a sobriety test at the scene. Authorities found Smith in possession of an open alcoholic beverage, marijuana, and Tramadol.

Smith was taken into custody and reportedly refused to get into the cop cars and refused to cooperate with officers.“
