FedEx posts strong quarterly results

OM was stong, everything that affects us sucked.
 
Of course some of theses numbers raise more questions. Example: Purchase transportation expense is down, but is that because they used less OR is it because it cost less? Maybe both. They say this:
"Purchased transportation expense decreased 8% in the third quarter and 19% in the nine months of 2024 primarily due to decreased shipments and lower fuel prices".

The LESS VOLUME is corporates fault! They have been running off customers for over a year! What did you think would happen? The freight fairy would magically put the revenue on the trailers?

That sounds like them trying to justify using more.....
