Well the thread started out to inform all how five seconds late in twelve months will get you fired. Now in reading that, comprehension is a basic skill of reading ...........No offense though. And none taken, just that maybe your comprehension level is quite low. Reading well is not a prerequisite for driving a big truck or for that matter driving anything.

some drivers dont like hearing the bad about the company they work for, only the good! They keep there eyes shut to alot of things until it happens to them! Bottom line, when it gets slow you better watch your back even more than b4 :watsup:

sorry havent been on in a few days. been working 14hrs the last few, so all i have time to do is sleep. i was simply saying before that your posts in this thread seem to be very sporadic. like your disgruntled or something from a bad experience in conland. with me being new to the company i am not privy to all of the dumb rules yet. not a lack of comprehension just a lack of communication.

4 Points - LOI
5 Points - LOI and conf call with XGO
6 Points - Termination

This is not a black and white policy though. This policy was put into place due to certian employees abusing the system that was perviously in place. Whether your terminated or not, from recent experience, soley relys on your integrity with the company.

How long do the points carry with you.......is it just for a 12 month period?

We know it's not GOD almighty although one may think that they are as high. The point system is still ridiculous! As stated in the thread title " Five Seconds Until Termination". I'm looking at the memo#022106-10.Attedance GUIDELINES.Its in black and white.It dose say guideline.
 
Still ridiculous and an over zealous enforcement of attendance requiremnets no matter how it's sliced! What was that memo number again 022 something.....something .....something dash 10. I wish we were all privy to such classified info then it would truly be entertaining.

Its not that hard to get.The only reason I said all that is I'm not suppose to have it.
 
how many companies do you know where they cant fire you for being late 5 or 6 times in a year

if its busy conway wont fire you for that reason, but if its slow, they can fire you for any reason they make up

thats why they go to such lengths to get a file on your azz, so when ever they want the next time you screw up ever so slightly they can fire you

if you get a chance, ask to see your file, you have that right, last time I did I thought it was quite funny reading all Ive done wrong :puke:
 
Sounds to me like people are given plenty of notice that they may be terminated if they continue to be late. So leave home earlier or find a faster route. If someone is told that if they are late again they will be terminated and that person chooses to be late anyways they need to be fired for being a dumb azz.
