Freight still slow for you guys?

They are hiring a line haul guy out Evansville but I dont want to take it and be laid off. Current gig no layoff.

I hear guys say layoffs no freight then they are hiring a lot of places.

I personally would stay where you are at.Not always greener on the other side.Again,Slow and they are hiring again.They have been letting a lot of good people go the past year.I would think about it for sure

Depends where you are, @WIC our outbound freight is as strong as I can remember it(allowing for holiday disruptions) Relay freight going west is a bit inconsistent. It would be a good idea to ask questions,not only the TM,but outbound supervisor, and dispatch as well.

FYI they don't lay off at O.D. They do away with position, so really your fired.

Wish our work would pick up a little, I just invested in a snow removal company in Tampa, so far, it's been real slow.
My partner wants to start selling tire chains, I'm not sure bout that.
