As you may be aware, new speculation from analysts and others is currently circulating about YRC Worldwide conversations with International Brotherhood of Teamsters leadership.

In May, we announced the formation of joint committees between IBT leaders and YRC Worldwide. These working groups have been and continue to be in proactive discussions to address our competitive presence. At this time, we do not have any new details to announce about the continuing committee work, but you need to know that our discussions are ongoing.

The execution of our comprehensive plan is designed to create opportunities and success for all of the employees of YRC Worldwide. We’re working in partnership with the IBT because we have a common interest to aggressively strengthen the position of our company and stimulate jobs.

As always, the most important thing we each can do is focus squarely on our customers and our ultimate aspiration to create an exceptional customer experience. Providing the service that every customer needs and expects to successfully manage their business is job #1 for all of us. Your commitment to professionalism with every shipment, every interaction and at every touch point is appreciated – and is the foundation for our shared success.

We’ll be in touch with future updates.

Thank you,
Mike Smid

$$ Bill doesn't need to get the axe. His contract is up in December. Its a GIMME to make us think they are giving us something.

We keep hearing from these clowns that our customers are all that matter. Well if our customers are so damned important, why do we leave their freight sit on our trailers for the day instead of delivering it? Especially when we have drivers laid off that would be more than happy to come in and deliver it? It's just more B.S. from these tards. Lining their own pockets is at the top of their priority list.

If anything, the IBT and YRCW should approve in buying R-14Driver a plane ticket, so he can fly out to Kansas City, MO. I'm sure he wouldn't mind traveling to Overland Park, KS Corporate Office to meet BZ personally. I'm sure he would love the opportunity to escort BZ out, physically.

BINGO just another white Elephent. OH BOY LOOK WHAT WE ARE WILLING TO DO FOR YOU

There it ia again. The infamous "comprehensive plan". Why don't they let us in on it? If there really is a comprehensive plan, let's see it. What is the objective of this comprehensive plan? What will the company look like upon it's completion. I for one think there is no comprehensive plan. If there is it is written on a napkin and changes from week to week. Hey YRC, why don't you try to make this ongoing tragedy at least a little more interesting by changing up the catch phrases now and then, please. The "comprehensive plan" thing is stale.

Hey SuperCourse :stirthepot: you think maybe"The infamous "comprehensive plan". Why don't they let us in on it?" is the same as the BIG picture we just never get to see??? :clappy:

Jimmy G the article in the Kansas City Business Journal if you read it was taken from a blog ""In a blog posting Friday, Teamsters for a Democratic Union,

It might as well been the break room or heard about on the CB

As far as the IBT or YRC goes all they will say is at this time there are NO agreements in place at this time We will all have to sit and wait :stirthepot:

Eat, fido, eat!

Did you ever see a guy, who's dog was obviously just about to sit, say to the dog, "sit!" And then he turns to you and his eyes get all big and he says, "He's a smart dog." Well you know that just isn't true; that he was just commanding the dog to do something that the dog was going to do anyway.

If so, read this from an old SEC filing by YRCW:
