A Duie Pyles computer system was compromised on 06/16/19 There is a 17 million dollar ransom .The owners say they won’t pay .There still down as 06/19 resorting to lcalls and checks for freight .

Management told us (@ Dayton Freight) about that a few weeks ago and asked us not to use personal email on company computers assuming the malware got in that way. What is the status now? Did they get the computer system fixed?

I am just a l/h driver. Seems like the system has been restored to at least 85%

Took about a week ,A sales rep opened a e-mail and that’s where it started ,No personal info was comprimised.All new system .Pyle quoted, we won’t pay ransom at any cost.
