I have heard that before, i also heard (after calling our insurance) that as of jan 1st we will no longer be able to use Walgreen's pharmacy. the way it was explained to me is that Walgreen's wanted more money and anthem didn't want to pay it so they severed relationships. I got all this from an anthem representative when i called
they will charge you only your copay, until they have paid $5,000, after they have paid $5,000 you will have to pay 50% of the cost of the drug. i take one pill that if i didnt have insurance it would cost me 97 bucks, but with insurance my copay is 10 bucks, that 87 bucks applies towards a $5,000 deductable that anthem pays, and like i said once you reach $5,000 you pay 50% of the drugs price.
