The driver of the 1999 International tractor, owned by Fed-Ex, was Gary Hoffman, 62, of Cedar Bluff, Neb. Hoffman was transported to High Point Regional Hospital and then taken by ambulance to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Hoffman was a contract driver, en route to Baltimore and hauling three additional Fed-Ex cabs

I'll bet they were truck being traded and still had FedEx on the doors. The truck the driver was driving was a 1999. I doubt it was even a FedEx employee but probably a drive away employee.

What do you want to bet the pickup was trying to beat the truck onto the highway and lost it. I've seen it a hundred times before; pickup pulling a trailer that is either overloaded or loaded improperly and looses control.

I just started a thread bout this. Didn't know he was going North. Those aren't sold, they are movin them around to barns that are short on trucks. 4 came into charlotte that morning.
