I don't care if the set is hooked or not we should be paid to hook it up. This is work performed and I prefer to be paid for working. Add up all the time you spend doing this in a year, hook/unhook pretrip/post trip and it all adds up. Bottom line is I would have no problem getting paid for al the work I do. Call me greedy I guess...

Not trying to pick a fight here but you knew what the drill was when you took the gig.You want to get paid from start to finish stay in the city, but you'll have to wrestle with freight and deal with customers. You chose linehaul so you get to sit behind the wheel all night and dream up stuff to be pissed about. Sorry guys but you could be much worse off. :threadsux:
Perhaps I was unclear in my post I don't wish to be paid to hook up to a pre hooked set or drop and leave a set hooked. I was just stating we don't get paid for that I even said no place I have worked before has paid for that. I am aware you can put in for pay for hooking or breaking a set. As for the fuel thing our yard doesn't have a fuel island or any fuel we fuel off site at truck stops and that can take time especially when the are busy and you need the fuel to continue. For that particular job duty I would like to be paid since FXF can get paid for fueling there own truck on company premises. I used to work there I know they get paid so I think off site fueling is a legitimate thing to be paid for and is not nickel and diming a company to death. I am resopnsible for it it's my behind if I run out of fuel so it should be paid is all I was trying to indicate in my post. Thanks for listening now I feel better. 
It really does seem that FXF and FXN should pay the same thing ,but did east and west FXF even have the same pay until about a year ago? The powers that be talk about making pay the same but that might mean FXF loses some things. Like fuel pay or pay to hook to trailers already put together.

Plane and simple none of my delay has been paid 
/EVEN after TM put in for. :iamnotworthy: it i sat on I70 for 9 hrs waiting for a replacement truck,DIDNT GET PAID :banana:,came back worked the dock punch in 6 hours DIDNT GET PAID :buttkisser:,plus the many hours of delay besides central saying im not assigned a bid When i been on BIB FOR LAST 3 MONTHS almost every other night

Point to be made my TM or the OM is not to blame they have shown me where the info about the delay hooks,drops any extras are inputted in payroll but its not being paid,
My last pay same thing,i told them both ME AND ONLY ME thinks since there are so many changes about to come our way some of us are lost between two systems national and freight.
I show in system as not having a bid, but i do, i can be dispatched from my barn get to CLS and not be able to arrive myself because i never was dispatched or reported to work when we call central they want to know whats going on? Maybe they will tell me opps we lost all of our records and cant pay you the time owed to you. how many drivers system wide could this be happening too?$$$$$$$ :banana: i know of a few at CHR,CLS, NWK
Beside if anyone out there deserves an purple sausage award to post on wall next to 5 year safe driver award come claim your award at Fedex.igotsausage4u.org cause i know they have enough sausage for everyone :stir:
