The way it was explained today in the Nationwide race,
while rain clouds were moving in, was to apply the Ivory Soap
using its edge to the inside of the windshield every 5 inches
from top to bottom (perpendicular),
to keep the windshield from fogging up.
shaving cream works on mirrors I do know that.
also when I was growing up I played ice hockey and had a spray for my face mask to keep it from fogging up not sure if it workes on glass or just plastic or whatever that facemask was made of

Well well well I think we might be on to something. Today we have learned that if you use the soap on a rope trick while in the car it will keep the windows from fogging up.

I can see that Nascar trick being used for cars that don't have A.C or a broken A.C, otherwise I just use my A.C to defog my windows.
