Talked to Human Resource and they said that the layoffs have been put on hold. Not sure why, but the bids have also been pulled. The terminals that already posted bids have been taken down.

Could be that CFL lis shutting down northern terminals and who knows about YRC.

Told us today in a meeting (Day Oh) that they are lookin for volunteers to take a 90 day layoff, guess we'll wait and see if there are any takers?? Asked about the bids would'nt say much other than they pulled them for some ajustsments.

Have'nt heard of any as of yet , as the economic strain continues i would not be surprised . It's a business thing that happens when the economy goes south . Better tighten the belt and get ready for the ride . Merry Christmas to all .

CJE is losing 2 bids and gaining 2 xtras. Looks like they're getting ready for a big slow down! We've all talked, and we're all willing to take a day off every week to protect the bottom guy's, hope more are willing to do the same!
