"I didn't know how I could tell our kids," shared his wife, Amber Bramman. "I couldn't believe that he was not going to be able to hold his newborn son, ever."
Tanner Bramman had been driving east before he lost control of his semi and ended up in the median, Lancaster County Sheriff's Capt. Tom Brookhouser said.
Several minutes later, a second semi heading east, driven by 49-year-old Bradley Moss of Aurora, entered the same median and collided with Bramman's truck, he said.
Bramman was pinned under Moss' truck and died at the scene, authorities said. Moss wasn't injured.
Brookhouser said investigators suspect Bramman may have been outside of his truck when the collision occurred, but they still need to complete detailed inspections of the trucks.
