Looks like LeBron likes his chances with Golden State out of the running next year. Made the big move to get AD. Kept Kuzma. Now they need to fill out the roster. The West just got even more interesting.

And Durant goes to Brooklyn with Kyrie and DJ. Interesting.

Lamb and Brogdon to the Pacers.

The East is going to be weird. Especially if Kawhi leaves Toronto.

I thought JJ Reddick leaving Phili for the Pelicans was different. Pelicans are going to be awfully good this year. And got a bunch of picks coming.

Still waiting for some team to be desperate and trade for Kevin Love. JR Smith. Tristan Thompson. Cavs are looking for young players and picks.

The Westbrooke trade is crazy. There are at least 10 playoff teams in the west and only 8 spots. Someone is gonna be awful unhappy.

You LOVE sports.

Maybe. Two fantasy football drafts yesterday. Feeling pretty good about them. Fantasy baseball playoffs start the week after this. Got one team with a real shot. And the real stuff is even more interesting than the fantasy. That little girl that gave Serena a run and took the first set was pretty cool.

NBA thread. Cavs still need to move Kevin Love. We are rebuilding. But could still make the playoffs. The East is weak.

So far , they've looked okay. Tristan Thompson has somehow regained the ability to jump. The second year guard is great ( Sexton? ) but he is playing me-ball instead of team ball. If they could close out a game they would be phenomenal.

Love is playing well. Tristan too. They are both trade bait. Either one could go to Portland. For picks and maybe Anferneee Simmons. Sexton is young. And it's his job to score. Garland is really inconsistent. But he is a rookie after all. Same with Porter Jr. I think he will be good if he develops his shot and gets stronger. Need to get Zizic back. Osman should be playing power forward. Clarkson is great of the bench. But they might move him too. Roster needs improvements. The East is weak. And the only real team in this division is the Bucks. Next year comes with a lot of salary relief. Even more if they can move Love.

Well. The East is weak. But this team is a hot mess. Not going to be competing for anything but a top three lottery pick.

I see Love going to Portland. Melo has worked out well for them. But others have not. We will gladly take their crap players on horrible contracts in exchange for Love. They clear cap and roster space. We free ourselves of a max contract player that will be washed up by time we are competitive.

Tristan is more interesting. Kuzma don’t like being a nobody on a team with LeBron and AD. There might be a way to swing a swap. Even better if we can find a third team to take Kuzma and we can just cash in on picks and cap space.

Jordan Clarkson looks like he’s heading to Boston or Houston. Dude can score. Teams need guys like him.

What about Nance Jr.? Watch Miami Heat play. Well coached and they develop players to get the most out of them. They usually play better than the talent they have on their team.

Cleveland needs to develop their young players. They have some ( a tiny bit ) talent and great role-players , but they are poorly coached and have lapsed into soooooo many bad habits. They do not execute plays on offense and lack communication and coordination on defense.

I see them hanging onto him. He’s a little small to be a 4 and not quick enough to be a 3. Good bench player. Unless a playoff team wants a body.

Not poorly coached. The veteran players are fighting with the rookies. And the coaches. This ain’t LeBrons Cavs. Did you see Tristan shouting back at the coaches the other night ? And Love refusing to close out on rotations ?

Before LeBron came back. Byron Scott would play two teams. Kyrie and Tristan. The young bucks would start the game. And the vets would come off the bench. Two separate teams of 5. You remember that ? Shawn Livingston and Luke Walton and them ? Coming off the bench ? It was amazing to see how differently the players would run the same offense.

So there goes the first domino. Clarkson is worth $13 million in the last year of his deal. In exchange we get an extremely talented but always injured back up point guard making $9 this year and next. And two second round picks.

I don't know where Love is going. But he is going. A lot of rumors. But the two teams that make the most sense are Portland and Houston. Love can't be the main guy. He can't even be the other guy. He is the third wheel.

And Tristan is going to be gone as well. Last year of his deal. Maybe a weird three team deal with the Lakers ad Kings. Lakers need still need a partner to get rid of Kuzma. Caruso is stealing his minutes. Just think about that. Damn.

John Henson, Matthew Delevadova and Brandon Knight are all in the last year of their deals. Make right at $9. A piece. Could move them to a team looking for cap relief.

Cavs want to play small and fast. Windler is going to get healthy enough to play. Eventually. Porter is very up and down. But he needs to be on the floor more.

The one thing this team really needs is an athletic rim running center. I am pretty sure that will be the focus of any trades or the draft this year. Getting a young big to play in this guard heavy line up. A Clint Capela type.

Any team that wants Kevin Love is worried about mental health issues that he's admitted to dealing with.

Nobody will acknowledge publicly that there's bigtime concern about Love's anxiety issue. His panic attacks make him feel like he's dying according to him. Love also said he struggles with depression.

That's asking a lot of someone to invest millions of dollars into Kevin , when you don't know how well he's coping with his own success. He's tailed off considerably in his production and seems to want no part of being the leader of a team.

An athletic , long , basket to basket center would perfect to develop alongside their other talent. Perhaps one of the Antetokounmpo brothers. Or one of the lean and fast center/power forwards from OKC. They seem to have too many.

I agree. Love has some serious downsides. But the teams out west are loaded. It's an arms race. Someone will take him on.

There are a bunch of athletic bigs. Don't need anything fancy. Just a taller and younger version of Tristan. Defense and rebound. A fast break dunk every now and then.

Everything is going great. LOL Just um. Well. Everything is going great.

The experts are already saying Garland is a bust and that we will be drafting another guard to play with Sexton.

Exum is a nice player to take a look at, but it's obviously not there with him either. Looks slow against other teams bench players.

The rebuild has yet to begin. Still need to tear this thing down.
