I applied at Con-Way online. They called me the other day to schedule an interview at the Gary terminal. What is the pay scale for a driver? Do drivers also have to work the dock. Any information you can give me will be appreciated.

Starting pay is $17.83, you will work the dock, city, and linehaul. You'll be on a flex board, which you may work all different hours.

I just started a few weeks ago. So far really liking it.
But you will work the dock as a driver. Since I've started I've worked the dock more than I have driven, but it's not so bad, just takes some getting used to. The different hours take some getting used to also, I have to call in everyday to check what time they want me to come in, but it's been pretty regular between 1100 and 1200.
I work at the Dallas terminal.
