Yellow | Network Optimization?!

We're getting screwed at 309 big pay cut going from $1700 to $2200 a week on triples Toledo turn or turn Cleveland to Toledo bed to $1150 to $1600 a week on straight 211/218 triples to bed. Many drivers furious don't want to go backwards pay wise why take it away or at least go back to North Lima? Part of the problem is Chicago shuttle operation is so inefficient they can't get everything to the rail so they have to make road drivers do it.
Come on over to shuttle. Without us, who would get all the new tandems? They force us to sit at Willow, and other yards, waiting on the rail to ground trailers. Not our fault the UP and BNSF can’t do their job.

Donna bought one of these so now we’re sending this and some Moldovanians over to Willow to help you out.

A near-term example of optimization NETWORK OPTIMIZATION 6 key focus areas: Network Design and Facilities Linehaul Planning Routing and Interchange City Operations Dock and Yard Operations Visibility and Status CONSOLIDATION SCENARIO TERMINAL B Company 2 TERMINAL A Company 1 TERMINAL C Company 2 TERMINAL A Company 1 Optimizing the network for increased efficiencies and service Immediate focus on gaining efficiencies and cost reductions through terminal cohabitation and consolidation Terminals in close proximity and with capacity are merged into one terminal Equipment, facility and employees are moved from B & C to generate cash proceeds and create synergies with routes, employees and equipment.

Management cant even run one company!! Heres a plan, sell all the other companies and pay off some debt and concentrate on one company!!

I doubt it .You have different companies doing different things. If it ever happens it will be a total disaster. We don’t and can’t do 2nd day freight or next day.
To avoid a total disaster, perhaps YRCW should bring back a CEO with total disaster experience.

When will they announce the merger? Reddaway was told to turn in uniforms, they are not negotiating a contract and now they are pulling around YRC trailers....
