We had some Freightliner city units several years back. They had Mercedes MBE 900 engines.
Much of the tech is not optional. It is mandatory for meeting emission regulations. There will be no more simple equipment like days gone by unless some of the emission laws are repealed. I thought years ago we would have a lot of alternative fuels like CNG fueled city rigs. CNG & LPG are clean fuels but apparently aren't a fit with most fleets. If it's outfitted with all the tech garbage like some of our new Kenworths, this may be the last time you see it for several months.
Yep, we had one, spring suspension. Hit bump in the road and wind wipers would come on.We had some Freightliner city units several years back. They had Mercedes MBE 900 engines.
UPS Freight had quite a few of the LNG tractors, whatever they saved they lost at the fuel station. If you were 2nd or 3rd in line you could run out of hours till it was fueled.
