I wish they would go back to hard plastic steering wheels. cleaning stuff dissolves the present ones to a sponge the absorbs everything to a point it can no longer be cleaned.
Don't forget about the baling too!!!!You know I meant it in the nicest possible way, Big R. The Batman tape is very stylish!
What's the seat situation like in your trucks, Big R? Funny stains or no upholstery left?.
Hmmmmm, I'm a teamster and I drive a 2015!! LOLDon't blame FedEx for PACCAR's quality control problems. Were they supposed to psychically predict that the new equipment would be delivered with electrical problems? Pull your head out of your exhaust pipe. EVERY truck manufacturer is having problems right now because of the heaping piles of government regulations that keep coming in. They're trying to lighten the trucks where they can to reduce the negative impact of all the government mandated junk hanging off the trucks now, and unfortunately electrical problems tend to result when wiring harnesses are being weighed and measured down to the last micron.
If you want to blame someone for the new trucks, blame the White House or the EPA. Unless you'd rather drive 15 year old rusted out junk? If so, I think I know a few Teamsters that'll tell you how much fun that is.
I did say "some" Teamsters. I'm very well aware of the equipment replacement program underway at YRC.Hmmmmm, I'm a teamster and I drive a 2015!! LOL

100.0000 and not an issue yet!I did say "some" Teamsters. I'm very well aware of the equipment replacement program underway at YRC.
I'm perplexed that you find it so funny that you're driving a brand new truck. Is it causing you trouble?
As I'm perplexed you always have to throw the teamsters in with your comments, baffling isn't it?I did say "some" Teamsters. I'm very well aware of the equipment replacement program underway at YRC.

All KW's end up with some type of electrical issue....dash lights won't come on when started, cluster info lights & digital read out goes crazy at times and all. Maybe if they go back to the air ride cab on KW's maybe most of these issues would be solved. I mean you're sitting in a solid riveted cab on bushings. Not smart at all!
I agree, the air ride cab along with the air ride suspension actually worked against each other causing the older KW's to ride worse than a horse and buggy!! Once they retrofitted the air ride cabs to solid mount cabs, the ride was night and day!!I remember having air ride cab KWs, they rode horrible. I prefer the solid mount cabs.
Most of the KWs I've driven have had water leaking from the overhead console down into the instrument panel area, I'm sure that might be long term issue.
roog
Now I'm absolutely certain that I have no idea what you're talking about. Is there some rule somewhere that says I can't say I know a few union men? Does it somehow offend you that I talk to a few of your brothers? Or do you just have to perpetually disagree with me because I don't carry a card?As I'm perplexed you always have to throw the teamsters in with your comments, baffling isn't it?
Fan no, arguing no, trucks sucking? Mine not so much as a glitch, you? Way to sensitive, you as a contractor for fed ex, so what! Me gloating? Not over a truck, foot in my mouth? Better than it being some where else!! Topic new trucks, never saw anywhere it said bitching about new trucks? Thought it was just trucks in general..... New trucks and teamsters? Never saw that in the topic line! You? Very egotistic And full of yourself...... So to you I would suggest you trying to stay on topic as well! MR. Contractor..... Have a nice day, I'm going too!Now I'm absolutely certain that I have no idea what you're talking about. Is there some rule somewhere that says I can't say I know a few union men? Brother Big R got the joke, a pity you chose not to. At least I used to be a FedEx contractor...why are you here, arguing with me over nothing? The topic at hand is new trucks, and how they suck thanks to the EPA. Do you have anything to add, besides gloating about the privilege you've been given over your brothers?
Stay on topic, and please understand the difference between talking about the Teamsters in general terms and talking about FedEx Freight unionizing specifically, lest you stick your foot in your mouth again. Real cute that you're such a big fan of my posts, though!
I'm not the one with the problem staying on topic. And if I'm egotistical and full of myself, then what exactly are you? Awfully pleased with yourself over your new truck with only a hundred miles on it, aren't you? Wait until something breaks and you lose it for a month while it's fixed. I'm sure you'll be really happy then!Fan no, arguing no, trucks sucking? Mine not so much as a glitch, you? Way to sensitive, you as a contractor for fed ex, so what! Me gloating? Please try and stay on subject, how could anyone brag on a freight truck! You sure like to take a small statement and pour the drama to it there sunshine, and it's a hundred thousand miles and all I need it for is 2 more months and I'm done, but all jokes aside please try to stay on subject. And don't be so winded. A simple **** you would have been fine..I'm not the one with the problem staying on topic. And if I'm egotistical and full of myself, then what exactly are you? And for the record, since you seem to be so pretentious, I'm driving a 2016. Does that make me better than you? Do I win? Because if I were as full of myself as you, I'd have mentioned that I'm driving a brand new truck a lot sooner than now. But I guess that's par for the course when your ego is in the stratosphere.
Do you want someone to congratulate you on having a brand new truck? Do you need a pat on the back? Good job. Good for you. You have a brand new rig that hasn't broken yet. But it will. Just wait.
I've been talking about trucks of one age or another the entire time. You're the one who got so hung up on the fact that I mentioned I know some Teamsters.P
