Just wondering how the Normal IL yard is to work at ? Have been reading alot of differnt post and there seems to be alot of unhappy drivers out there really dont want to wast my time...
Does anyone know what the starting pay rate is for p&d driver there ?

LOL so if i dont get an response for any Normal drivers that would be a good thing huh

It is as good as any conway terminal. If you like conway you will like normal,il terminal. The pay is $17.81 per hour. Like .41 cpm on line haul i think.They seem to keep hiring so it's a good time to get in there. The only negative is they have a lot of cat freight with about 1.5 years left on the contract. They will more than likely get another contract,but it is something to think of. Best of luck.

[/quote]The hourly pay in the South is $17.99(to start), so I know it's more in the "old" Central

It's not a bad job. There's good points and bad points at all companys. I feel that here it's more stranger than other companys, I could be wrong.

I would think twice about working or living anywhere near a place called NORMAL. Sounds pretty strange to me.
