I remember these units from my youth on the dock.The freight bills were not paper,they were made from stone and we had to keep a chisel to fill them out.....I'm joking,almost.

JIM BOB, thought the 1st power units you were around had to be feed and watered. LOL I can joke about that cause family member still has a 6 belgian pull team and a restored 1870's high side freight wagon, plus other restored pull eguipment. Commented to my uncle I want to be reincarnated as 1 of his horses.

When I first started we couldn't get the freight delivered on time.Then somebody figured out to take the square wheels off and put round ones on from there on we were hauling butt.Funny what a difference a little change like that makes.

Slightly off topic but something else to look at on Youtube.Look for some of the videos of those Austrailian Land Trains.It's just crazy what those guys are pulling down undah!
