I guess I don’t understand if they’re the same thing why would they have different codes? I know I had the four discretionary days and it shows eight hours OPD? I am fairly new I thought it was a simple question but no one seems to know. Thank you

I think they have different codes depending on how you use the personal discretionary day. They must be scheduled and approved in advance. They can be used for any purpose. They can be paid at 4 hour or 8 hour increments. They can be used for an emergency which obviously would not be scheduled. I assume they have multiple codes for these reasons.
