Have you ever been over weight? Does the company pay your fine? Are you line haul or pick up and delivery? what is your tractors gross weight?

Line-haul tractors are tagged for 80,000 lbs except for those permitted for LCV operations (KS 120,000)The company does a pretty good job of running legal weights(most larger terminals have axle scales) the company pays overweight fines,however if you were to knowingly pull overweight equipment without a supervisor signing off on it,or doing something stupid(like having scales available and not bothering to weigh)you'd be risking some pretty harsh disciplinary action against yourself.
