The new "pension" isnt a pension at all. It's a 401k with a little bit and i mean just a little bit better matching. They match 100% on the first 1% you contribute. This turns out to be like $250 if you make 50K a year. They call it a "modernized" retirement plan. That's just a fancy way of saying "now the employee has to shoulder the burden of retirement".
