I left the co. last June 12th. I reapplied the middle of this April this year. I had a couple of bud's drop a line to the one's doing the hiring and didn't hear anything for a couple of weeks. At that point i was calling twice a week trying to reach the man doing the hiring. After a half dozen calls and 3-4 messages i finally got a hold of him and he said he's look into it and i never heard anything back. At that point i basically gave up until i seen an ad on careerbuilder. I knew then they were having issues finding qualified help. So i called the man again and was rushed in 2 days later where after a road test and very short interview i was told i was being hired and that the next step was to order a mvr. The guy who hired me told the hr lady in front of me that i only had 4 days left until my year being gone was up. She grinned and said that policy had changed effective June 1st,2010.
So here's my problem....Everyone who i've spoken to,including the man that hired me,has no clue the policy had changed. Can anybody shed some light on this? I feel like i'm getting screwed because i served FXF for over 9 years with zero problems. 2 city and 7 road. My employee # is the same it was when i originally hired with AF in June of 2000. This is real fishy. They're treating me as a new guy rookie. I know policies are there for a reason but i feel this one is just plain wrong. FXF will save $$$ with the earned knowledge i've gained over the years. I've done some math and looks like i'll be loosing roughly $225-$275 a week the first year and so on for the second and third.
