Needs a green hand truck.Went to Bentley's Saloon in Arundel Maine last night. They do lots of car shows and last night they were featuring trucks too. Turned the corner and there it was, Mud's dream come true. That's the guy that owns it, chatted with him for a while. He bought it off the mechanic that did repairs at Roadway 113, Portland Maine. Pete, I knew him and told him a couple of Pete stories. Unfortunately he told me Pete had passed a couple years ago. Me and my wife voted for it for "best in show".

That's what I told the guy that had it. Asked him if he busted his knuckles on the dash putting it in reverse, the shift linkage could get pretty sloppy on those things.
Ryder leased some H63 Macks one Christmas that was so worn you could hit the right door with the duplex stick.

A green hand truck mounted on the front bumper of the Roadway pumpkin, bouncing loudly back and forth as you drive down the interstate.

There is an aquaintance from this area who has lived in Alaska for many years. He built a similar rig from a 60's KW conventional cab. whle there. He drove it in from Alaska a while back. It has more original sheet metal than this one but a lot of it is handmade. He uses a smaller Cummins for power.
Must be one I never drove. Still has its mirrors.
