SEFL | rumor on expansion?

heard a rumor the other day that sefl was going to expand into ky and possible little further north. wondering if you guys heard any thing like this? if so any info would be nice. thanks fellas now enjoy the show to the right...lol

Probably not a good Idea the move into KY. Louisville is a HUGE hub for UPS and UPS Freight. Probably a waste of time and effort moving into KY. I just heard from a UPS salesman that they'll be packaging deals, i.e. selling parcel and frieght to companies all over IN and KY. Price war will probably hit here (KY) very soon. When that does...no room for us, you or any other none UPS company.

havent heard anything about sefl moving to ky. Everyone Ive talked with says SEFL will not be moving into any other states, that they are not already in. Most expansion will be in TX, and Ok. SEFL was ranked #1 LTL carrier in the southeast.

No expansion in the near future. We're goign after the biggest market share in the 12 Sunbelt states and will likely not expand past those.
