Hey, I drove 5 1/2 years linehaul. I had a safe record no attendens points helped out in the city if they needed me to seem like that was all the time.Drivers said i was crazy for doing it hey i has just trying to help out. Should of went home.And they still layed me off on 11-06-09.One good thing is i had a good TM. But it's the other people in high places that don't give a crap.Nobodys job is safe their.

Second that you are and will always be just a warm driver and number and that is just about true anywhere hell when I worked there, I drank the Kool aide but hell when TMs tell you that you can take your lunch while your driving in increments.

these companies are all the same when they are ready to replace you they will. they dont care what you done for them in the past.

It seems like that's the case with all companies today. All you can do is make sure you're an asset to the company and not a drain. Still no guarantee - but it's about all you can control. :rant:
