My meet man drives an '05. He just got it back from inspection and sevice and the shop had installed a tattletale box and computer screen. The gossip is that the boxes will be installed into earlier models maybe as old as 00's.
 
It's a fact, or atleast that's the plan. The company wants them in all l/h units by the end of the year. I do not see that happening in that time frame, but that's the plan.
 
yeah they really do a good job installing that screen too all of em i see are hanging by the wires a few weeks after they install them on that little bendy stick thing.
 
There is a memo floating around with a picture showing the screen cracked on the unit and stating it was also no longer attached. The way some of them are mounted, it would seem easy for a driver to knock it right off the dash while putting their bag or luggage in the middle of the truck. That being said, I can't think of anywhere else that would be good to mount it.
