I got to Fla and paid $1.50 for a pack to get back home, I think that was my last smokes.
I spent a total of sixteen months on an aircraft carrier back in the

were fourteen cents a pack or $1.40 a carton at the PX aboard

In 1955 we bought our smokes from a switcher from Bell Lines across the road from Ryder for $1.70 a carton. (any brand)
I didn't smoke in the service and don't know the price in 1959-60.
 
Under the New COO , when freight is slow , we get the 1st loads as a log hauler before shiny wheels haul them !!!! Its on page 15 of the COO !!

Hey Big Dave can we get one of these fancy crew cabs for my partner & me when we are training the New Group of Moravian Drivers this summer ! But can get some chrome stacks & mirrors for the back seat drivers too ?
