Freight assembly center. Basically a terminal that's a hub.

FAC- freight assembly center. Think other carriers would call it a Break Bulk center. drivers from several service centers in a region will meet at a large terminal, that runs the FAC operation, where freight from their home service center is unloaded and reloaded onto other trailers for the next leg of its trip to its destination
