Most of you don't understand just how busy the Dallas Terminal has been over the years. Unfortunately R+L has always run this terminal 15 drivers short on a daily basis.....and if freight and bills surged they would bring in temps to destroy the equipment and plain and simple not get things done. some could not drive...females.... One of the temps ended up through the windshield on a linehaul run and R+L has never even let us know if he lived through it. Now with the advent of R+L opening Sanger and taking the lion's share of the customers generating revenue for the Dallas terminal we have now come down to many of our junior drivers sitting at home 4 days a week. I can only imagine the frustration and concern knowing they can't pay their bills under these circumstances. You know they have hired on an extra 45 drivers over what they had started with to cover all the work in Sanger. Had they had those same 45 drivers in Dallas we would have shined out loud. Sanger is a scab terminal located in nowhere land....terminal is still in chaos with a nobody as terminal manager. Dispatchers who allow drivers to tell them who is screwing up but really it's them. Cutt throats galore. Yes they have opened up the sheet to ask off in Dallas but right now it's just not enough. Senior guys take off but they leave the JR guys sit at home. And don't be fooled. The senior guys in Sanger are the biggest cry babies at the terminal. Want bottle feeding and special treatment. One of them got terminated from OD for telling the boss how to do his job and he's doing the same thing here. Most of the guys at dallas have 8 plus years with R+L. Most of Sanger is new hires and 1 guy with 9 years and one with 3 years and all the rest less than 1 year. It's just a shame R+L forgot about the guys who have pulled their weight and then some in Dallas.
