Gen X here. The world see now was created by The Babyboomers. And they are still in power, in their 80's. I keep seeing online folks say "America is done, it's over, it's finished". I really don't see it that way. I think there is a very simple shift in society. Up till now, Americans have worked themselves to death to have a house and family, and so on. I think Americans now just realize that less is more. More time off is better. And there is an exchange of information on social media on how to have that. I see the cities deteriorating. But I see it as a part of the process. I also see a movement away from corporate/college fluff, to skilled trades, or blue collar jobs that "actually" provide a service. I simply think that America is moving twords a simple phase. The market always self corrects. It seems that old concepts are dying, giving rise to a more rich existence. American workers are prioritizing time with family, vacation, getting outside, and living with less.
So I am not a doomer. I just see this time as a growth period.
Things may see bad, but really is it? I say no, not for the working class. Because we drive the country.
I think we will be fine.

Indeed, the market self corrects. The problem is government interference in the free market and deficit spending that weakens our country's economy. There is no going backwards. The global economy is here to stay. Enormous debt and the refusal of the union to adapt to the new economy killed Yellow. The enormous debt and government refusing to adapt to the new global economy will kill The United States.

Ya, the government keeps racking up the credit card into transgenerational debt. But we have been through this before. ALL governments of the earth are in massive debt, not just us. Let's say the economy truly collapsed. Well, we are still here, living, walking breathing. I think a lot of folks would welcome older times living. The global economy? It's just a rising of debt. China should have fallen years ago. But Central Banks use cash, to try to put out that dumpster fire. All of Europe is in massive debt. Regardless of the the world, now more than ever, we need to stay focused on Liberty, as it is our foundation. But I am of good cheer. In Liberty I trust will win in the end.

No I don't see it Liberty138. I see more wealth concentrated in fewer hands. I see GenX renting and when it's time to retire - no equity / more dependence on gov't / social services. I see less critical thinking. More group think. The people telling you "less is more" - i.e. Blackrock - are the people that own the assets. A country is only as good as it's major cities. You should be very concerned the major cities have deteriorating quality of life. You will be footing the bill for this - whether you are working in a skilled trade or white collar job - you will be taxed to death to pay for the social services to support the street folks. The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money. While government handouts may sound good, someone still has to foot the bill. Meanwhile - young people are drowning in college debt from worthless degrees. And colleges have endowment funds worth more than most countries. But GenX will keep thinking things are fine because your media is propaganda. As long as you have your Apple phone - who cares if you're renting and only have $10k in the bank. But the good thing about us Babyboomers - we will not be here ...so I wish you best of luck Liberty138đź‘Ť

I agree with everything you said about the state of things. I have never owned a home, and struggled my whole life just to have a small rental. I have no retirement. I have seen the subversion of America, men armed with worthless paper. All that you say is true.
However, when you take everything away from a man, that is when he grows.
Give a man all his heart desires and he will self destruct.
I see America as a shadow of what is to come.
Liberty shall cover the whole earth one day.
I can see mankind coming to ends of all the deception, and start serving one another.
Then the heart of man shall be healed once and for all, forever.

Universities and the Teamster's Union have both become big business and both have forgotten their roots and their original purpose for existing.

Pay attention to the value of the American dollar, on a global level.

If the Founding Fathers had today's DOJ and today's media in their time they would have been in a gulag in Philadelphia instead of conducting the Continental Congress.
But we have social media now. The entire earth is connected.
"Truths most protected layers", are being peeled back.
We can all see the lies now.
Liberty will rise, and take her seat forever.

I agree that The Union is the past was not strong enough. I think those days are over.
"Money talks, and bs walks"....

Cuties are all over our trusted news sites. Maybe a new WHO lock downs coming? Climate change lock downs? I do think people are waking up, but too slow and are years behind getting the real facts. There is no debate on this science. Science without debate = propaganda.
History always repeats itself

Social Media is why rumors and falsehoods lead to cities burning. False Things like Hands Up Don’t Shoot burned down Ferguson. Things like the posting this week that the Yellow Pension ended stirred up Teamsters, and Teamsters weren’t even in it. Instant communication thru the internet can be good, but normally leads to ruin….
