just remember when an if we do vote if you do not vote it is a yes vote so need to get everyone we can to vote !!! if we do !!!

For a false sense of hope, if you're a local 710 or 705 worker you know all too well your vote means nothing.

While I agree with you I recommend that all who are eligible cast their vote. If you don't it looks like nobody cares and apathy will get the best of all of us. The fight is still being fought.

While the battle to maintain the benefits of MEPFs continues, the solution will be legislative. If you think that an overwhelming rejection of the proposal from CSPF will stop the process your quite mistaken. It is a national problem, and the solution, if there is one will come from Washington, DC. not from Rosemont, IL. The Congress passed and the President signed the "Cromnibus" bill. The language that allows reductions in benefits is contained in that bill.

A bill repealing that portion of the bill is the ONLY way that reductions in benefits will be avoided.

As i said your vote meanings nothing. And now i understand why most of the teamsters never bothered to vote.
 
I was enlightened to a possible different pension cut plan.A 10% cut in pension pay outs for 10years At the end of the ten year plan.Recalculate and if feasible come up with a 30 year plan.

There is only one presidential candidate who has tried to put that bill up for a vote. Feel the Bern!
