My truck and 53' weighs about 31700 full of fuel and empty. Legally if it's 12k ,20k and 34k for a total of 66k gross, I'm at max with 34300.If loaded right, about 34-35,000 is all you can legally axle with a 53', and a single axle tractor.
The only exception would be if Big Dave was the driver ,wearing the Hat. Then only 33,000.My truck and 53' weighs about 31700 full of fuel and empty. Legally if it's 12k ,20k and 34k for a total of 66k gross, I'm at max with 34300.
With a Saia Volvo if you don't load the over 8 thousand in the first 16 feet of the trailer in 53 and keep it under 35k it will usually scale out. If you tell that too a Saia Dock Supervisor they'll look at you... like a cow looking @ new gate
Sleepers?Wasn't my fault they were dumb enough to send my meet driver in a single-screw sleeper Volvo to pick up loads I brought in my twin-screw sleeper Freightliner. I got to go!
I do now. That was back when I did a meet and turn for Ground.Sleepers?
You sure you work here?
Looks like you lightened things up further by taking the pallet jack with no paint on it....good thinking!
Just had this happen today, lol. With a Saia Volvo if you don't load the over 8 thousand in the first 16 feet of the trailer in 53 and keep it under 35k it will usually scale out. If you tell that too a Saia Dock Supervisor they'll look at you... like a cow looking @ new gate
If you still had 33,000 left on what looks like 35-40 ft, your drives had to still be way over.

that so called hole is a haz-mat vent in case of leakage from a pallet or a drum
