UAW organizes VW in TN

The Germans wanted the Union in all their plants it was Americans brainwashed by their Republican governors to vote against the Union.
Of course, they is why they fought the union.
My guess is the plant is shut down and moved into one of the Mexico plants..
Win the battle lose the war.

They didn't fight unionization, at least I didn't see that in this article....I read in other articles the company was neutral.....when they first tried a few years ago the company openly supported it because they could operate more like they do in Germany....as far as losing the war, how do workers win with no voice?

Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Hyundai/Kia seem to build very good automobiles and care for employees compared to the garbage made by union auto companies who need a union because the company treats them poorly??
Who stated the Toyota, Hinda, Nissan and Hyundai./Kia employees do not have a voice. Happy employees build great products.

Your guess is wrong....again....
Here is a line out of the link...
The Environmental Protection Agency rule makes it impossible for Volkswagen to shut down its EV-producing plant in Tennessee, which is being targeted by the UAW.

Where is the link to the story of these foreign companies caring for employees? I don't think any of the big three UAW employees would say they are treated poorly with the big contract they just received, which by the way, prompted most of the companies you started your post with to give substantial raises.....I will take the fine automobiles made by the American companies any day....

Thanks for sharing, I generally do not read 'progressive' or any other leftist publications such as Prospect.
However; time will tell, with EV sales plummeting and China building 2 EV Plants in Mexico to sell EV's for $14,000 in the US.. All with the Biden Admin's blessings...
Odd that unions need the government to force a plant to stay open to protect a unions poor quality work. We will see how long that lasts.....
Once again, unions cannot survive in a free market, they can only operate in a forced socialist environment where the government forces companies to remain operational. Only to have leftist publications push the narrative..
Toyota, Honda, Nissan & Hyundai must be laughing.........
Thanks for the proof of how much unions hate capitalism...

Good for you, keep buying those.

Wrong again, maybe if you read the article you would understand...has nothing to do with forcing a plant to stay open because it is union.....I like to read what both sides say on every issue.....but I guess that is just me liking to be informed, and not a sheep to either side....
