I may be way off, but somewhere in my cranium is telling me Puff was a Nationsway driver back in the day and he got extremely disgruntled against unions. And it's been my experience and observation and maybe opinion that a person's political worldview largely drives whether they are pro or anti union. I worked with a heck of a lot of anti union people at New Penn. I'd say probably a 75% rate of anti union republicans were at my barn in Reading.
