FedEx Freight | Union centers NOT getting new vacation pay rate.

Scratch?

Seems that the "slate" currently has all but one thing the rest of the class has. How can that be called "blank"? :scratchhead:

"Under Board law, an employer is obligated during negotiations to maintain terms and conditions of employment and observe the status quo, absent agreement."

Now, the new slate may be partly blank. But if/when completed will be carved in stone. Unlike your current slate which is subject to change.

Just an observation. The rest of the story...

Evidently you don't understand the negotiation process. Yes, the company maintains the status quo. That doesn't mean anything that is currently paid is actually paid in the end result contract. Everything in the contract is negotiable. You attempt of play word games. Quit playing checkers, chubby...we're playing chess here.

Cute. Informative too.

Ahh chess, the one with kings, queens, castles, horses, and those bishop things.

Great to play, but much like this process, tough to watch.

One bit of advice, don't be a pawn. Great potential, but quite a long shot...

You're so smart, you must be at the top of the bell curve.

The 4 Union centers will not be getting the new city driver vacation pay rate. Also no new trucks at EPH or the SBR yard since voting in the union 2 years ago... Thanks for nothing Teamsters
That's funny because those centers never got them anyway, they have always got handme downs. We got new ones once the 9300 series
