Our insurance went down hill from the day FedEx took over AF. Gets worse every year.

Well, since WHITE is mum about it, here is what SAIA has and yes after 10 years it is FREE for single or family coverage…
Deductibles are $250 individual and $500 family
Out of pocket maximum is $2000 for individual and $4000 for family.
$25 co-pay for dr visit and $35 for specialist, no % crap like we have
No company determining what they want you can have done and what medicines they cover like we have either.
So basically all of us on FXF family plan pay more in monthly premiums than the out of pocket maximum for families on the SAIA free medical plan. YIKES!!! We are royally getting screwed with our insurance. We are paying out the nose for ours and what they get for free is radically better than ours. “Just give us another chance” indeed.

So, this 80 Broad plan has no yearly maximum out of pocket cost for the individual or family? The above example would cost that person almost $11,000 out-of-pocket?

On this plan, family is 9600 and individual is 3500 (I think).

I do it, but I'm one person. You can see, they defend it. Make them aware that it sucks.
It works the way he/she describes it assuming every doctor that works on you will be in network or covered. It’s usually an anesthesiologist that won’t be covered but the hospital and surgeon are since they bill out separately. You have to jump through fiery hoops, make appeals and endless calls to get that 80% covered sometimes and then you’re on the hook for $10k+. I’ve lived it. Most people aren’t on the 80 broad plan anyway.

O yeah, I know. Shoot him an email and tell him how you feel. Silence makes it seem like everything is good.
This company rep and I have been very respectful, even though we don't agree on things. If you want to remain anonymous, make up an email and sound off.
More of us need to be vocal to even get them to consider changing things. I can't do it by myself.

Hell yeah the Saia insurance is sweet and that’s just one of the reasons I haven’t retired yet.
This is another reason why any effort by employees to make their outrage known must be supported.

Sorry, just saw this. For a family (spouse+kids) is about 56 a week. I don't know how much it is for individual and individual+spouse.
Fun fact: employee plus spouse REQUIRES the family plan.
