FedEx Freight | We need better low or no deductible ins!

Well, since WHITE is mum about it, here is what SAIA has and yes after 10 years it is FREE for single or family coverage…

Deductibles are $250 individual and $500 family

Out of pocket maximum is $2000 for individual and $4000 for family.

$25 co-pay for dr visit and $35 for specialist, no % crap like we have

No company determining what they want you can have done and what medicines they cover like we have either.

So basically all of us on FXF family plan pay more in monthly premiums than the out of pocket maximum for families on the SAIA free medical plan. YIKES!!! We are royally getting screwed with our insurance. We are paying out the nose for ours and what they get for free is radically better than ours. “Just give us another chance” indeed.

You need a cookout to help you forget about all this trivial stuff.
:biglaugh:

Sorry Hoot I had too.

They owe Nashville three safety cookouts, and they said its been to long we aren't getting them. We earned them, but because they kept giving us excuses why they couldn't at the time. Now the new excuse is it's been too long!

Yet we go to IND, ATL, WME. They are cooking once or twice a year...

Especially Hoot when you see the profits for last quarter.

FedEx said adjusted earnings for the three months ending in August, the group's fiscal fourth quarter, came in at $4.55 per share, a 32.3% leap from the same period last year that was well ahead of the Street consensus forecast of $3.74 per share.

Same out west. We get the excuse of there's just to many of us for them to cook for us. When you guys say hotdogs, I say what hotdogs?!

I do it, but I'm one person. You can see, they defend it. Make them aware that it sucks.
It’s asinine they chose to defend this.

It works the way he/she describes it assuming every doctor that works on you will be in network or covered. It’s usually an anesthesiologist that won’t be covered but the hospital and surgeon are since they bill out separately. You have to jump through fiery hoops, make appeals and endless calls to get that 80% covered sometimes and then you’re on the hook for $10k+. I’ve lived it. Most people aren’t on the 80 broad plan anyway.

C’mon FedEx… really?

O yeah, I know. Shoot him an email and tell him how you feel. Silence makes it seem like everything is good.

This company rep and I have been very respectful, even though we don't agree on things. If you want to remain anonymous, make up an email and sound off.

More of us need to be vocal to even get them to consider changing things. I can't do it by myself.

Hell yeah the Saia insurance is sweet and that’s just one of the reasons I haven’t retired yet.

This is another reason why any effort by employees to make their outrage known must be supported.

FedEx only understands one language. We need to speak THAT language, loud and clear - and unified.

They've gone astray again and their memory is short...
