We're headed into winter. It's also an election year. I would wait till March. Unless you just want to work weekends and need the insurance.

The weekend is probably the only time you will work, that's why you should wait till spring. Winter is the slow time of year. Talk to someone at the bottom of the extra board and see how they are working.

Look into how much you need to work each month to keep your insurance going. It's different from one location to the next.

You'll probably work more than that but it's better to know up front how it could turn out. It won't start getting slow till after thanksgiving. Also you don't have to work a certain amount of days to get insurance just have to be available.

You won't know for sure how it will work out till you try. If you think it might be for you then go for it and see for yourself. You're not locked in to the job so if it's not to your liking you can always leave.

Go to ABF if you want to work Union.Their paying 100% into penison and there is no 15% pay reduction.Plus it only takes 1 year to get to full rate!

When did the 1 year to top rate thing start? That's definitely an improvement.
