TForce | Card Check Phase 1/ Next Week!

Probably going to go regionally like N.E. Remember there is strength in numbers!!! :1036316054:

I am all by myself in my union, I have 100% of the vote, I will show you ******* how to negotiate, and if I do not get a good contract, I will picket those bastards. I am not afraid.:biglaugh:

I'll bet it is the seamstress union!!!!!!!!:hysterical::hysterical: Just kidding.

The joke is that any small group that gets 30% can ask for an election. In reality no union would ever ask for an election with only 30% support, but some D-bag could get that by tricking some guys to sign a petition and then delay the recognition of the teamsters. This is HARDBALL now! We will see how much balls these TM butt kissers have now that there TM can't help them with anti-union or they will be fired.

The joke is that ant small group that gets 39% can ask for an election. In reality no union would ever ask for an election with only 30% support, but some D-bag could get that by tricking some guys to sign a petition and then delay the recognition of the teamsters. We have got two guys at my terminal that might try that and we will be watching them like hawks. One of the guys is the tm's:butt kiss: and snitch. Luckily for us we have some real dirt on this guy so if he F's with us we will drop the dime on him. This is HARDBALL!

Bring it home baby, bring it home !!!!!!!

Good for you guys. I am not concerned with HRS. That's your deal. The bottom line is we will be supplement of the NMA at UPS, just like menlo. I feel sorry for you guys at the giant terminals. I wouldn't want to work there. Every guy at our terminal knows one and other and that is what makes us tight. How can you be tight with 900 people. I guess the union will just skip over you for now. The company doesn't revolve around any one terminal.:smilie_132:

I don't think that Hrs. is even close to 900 employees. Its been a few years since I ran a Hrs schedule. They had about 200 road drivers and about 30 city drivers a few years back. They did not grow that fast.

BN, 670 ft/pt dockworkers!!! Like ants at the mound.

Heres a little note thats going to go off topic a bit.
just thought I'd throw it in here.
I remember when HRS was built.
I was a city driver for Hall's Motor transit.

They had a terminal accross the river in Harrisburg that terminal was getting to small so the built a giant terminal in Mechanicsburg to replace it.
That hub had whats called a drag line.
Groves in the floor that would move steel 4 wheel carts to the proper doors.

I took a tour of that terminal shortly after it was built.
When Halls went bankrupt that terminal was sold to Overnite by the upper management of Halls.
I heard that Overnite doubled the size because it was to small for them.

Well this story really dates me,and this will end the side trip off the topic of this thread.
