nemf thread talks about union renegotiaion and suddenly disapeares???

was kind of interested in what went down at that meeting. maybe too much negativity being posted and someone asked for it to be removed.
 
For someone that continues to ridicule the President of the USA, Jeff sure backs down to the Jersey mob (alleged) in a hurry! Or didn't you delete the thread Jeff? Some explanation would be great!
 
Did ganis convince you that the thread was in violation of rule 9?

I'm quite curious how a user can cause a thread such as this to be deleted. Must you be the original poster, or can anyone who dislikes the direction a thread is heading request it's termination? What rule did this thread violate?????
 
What happened at the meeting doesn't concern me. What happens on this site does. I want to be aware if the "regulations" changed, or if a rule was violated. You wouldn't want ticketed for something when you where following all the rules that you knew, would you?
 
All I can say is a couple of users requested their posts be deleted and thats all I know, I normally don't mess up threads but these two gave some specific reasons, and with the reasons they gave, I was convinced it was in the best interest to remove them.

No need to question any further because I will not go into any further details.
 
Also, only your Government can guarantee you free speech, and if a post is within the rules here it is left alone but if it is not, then you don't have free speech...
 
Fair enough, I was cornered several times (while I still worked at NEMF) about things that I had posted here. I can understand someone requesting their post being removed after the "heat" got turned up on them. Heck, please delete all my posts from NEMF threads! They are some scary SOB's!!

i'm with you we are one of the lower paid ltl's abf 23.14 pitt ohio 20.91 abf and p.o don.t pay for insurance.
don't get me wrong this is a good job for the last 15 year except for dealing with a verbally abusive tm but you only have to see him for half hour a day.
Conncessions i believe this is a monkey see monkey do kind of deal everybody else is doing it Mr S might as well try.
 
i guarantee thts the case NEMF is a sue happy comapany and MS is very private.....hes got the union wrapped around his finger and proabably peing their pants

Most companies do get very upset when lies are attributed to them.
It seems as if the first, what? Five people? Who verified the details from that meeting where clearly involved in a conspiracy to bring down Mike S. - probably anti-Semites too??????
 
i agree with steelmiller.nemf has short changed you guys for years why stop now.get a new contract for like 34 cents a mile and we can call u jb hunt
 
we are the lowest paid ltl out there... i have asked my shop steward what was going on but only got alittle bit of the story..i think every terminal should have a drivers meeting with the shop stewards and the business agent and see once and for all what is going on and to stop the bs rumors before they get out of control... rumors only can hurt us right now
