Yellow | Yrc May Close If Chicago Votes No

QUOTE=regular342;758515]Look here . You might want to brush up on your reading comprehension skills because they are lacking at best. I never once said that the Chicago guys were stupid and I do respect them for standing their ground, but I do think they are cutting off their nose to spite their face, but they do have that right.

My first comment where I joked about them not being able to read was directed at them and was a joke.....Get Over It.

My second comment was about R-14s comment in which he was speaking about Wis Kid. If you seriously are having this much trouble understanding whats being conversed here then maybe it's time for you to step away from the boards and into a home.

So I suppose you think the economy going to ::shit:: is the fault of the IBT? By the way did you ever find your Fork Lefts?

Do you really think you hurt my feelings.........You will be the one hurt when the Chicago Teamsters come looking for you for saying they are stupid and cant read......Wish I could be there to witness.......:biglaugh:.........:Die:

Good GOD YRC... we voted NO NO NO. please do what ever you want to do with us, but we voted NO twice... Im am soooo sick of them crying about that 5%. If its so easy to shut us down why keep beating a dead horse, just do it. Im struggling to make my bills as it is now, got at least one bank calling me per day wanting to know why my bills arent getting paid on time. I cant do anything about bills that are due, and taking another 5% isnt going to make the matter any better for me.
I have learned one thing out of all of this and I will never get to a point of too much credit. But meantime, Im not giving you another bit of money without a fight. You want to cut? take it upstairs and try relieving dollar bill of part of that $6,000,000 he makes a year. Get rid of a couple atms at the hgts. We have more stupidvisors walking around that arent worth a darn, (we do have some that are worth gold, but only a handful). Try getting rid of the committees, the boys that grill all the time and about 8 college guys walking around sucking up my oxygen trying to look like the positions they have are actually a worth something. I just wish they would move on and lets move some frt, or shut the F up and close the doors. Its winter out, I freeze all day and deal with ignorance, and its just not worth all this hype!!!!!!!! VOTE NO LIKE YOU HAVE THE OTHER TIMES!! (ok taking a zanax now, sorry for the rant)

i hope they do vote it down again i don't know why they want another vote. JUST CLOSE CHICAGO and lets move on. we don't need those crybabies.

Seriously? Did you really just type that? Well, I'll be at home waiting on those big bad Chicago boys to come knock on my door. Needless to say i won't be losing any sleep over it. Like I said earlier you can't fix stupid.

Good lord Kid look at things in the Big Picture form . There are ONE point FOUR MILLION (1,400,000)Teamsters, the last I heard there are only THIRTY NINE THOUSAND(39,000) Teamsters working under the "YRCW " umbrella . You want the IBT to take a pay cut because LESS THAN 3% OF THE total Teamsters member belong to YRCW ? I know I know you will say we BUILT the Teamsters and I cannot argue that point but my friend those times are long gone sadly !

maybe not a pay cut but a $75,000 raise while we are taking cuts is a slap in the face.

I say we need more Chicago men (people). Quit letting the company or Tyson Johnson strongh arming everyone. He sold my husbands company down the river. NO contract since 10/31/07. These guys still working without a contract thanks to TJ and the IBT. They came in and over thru the locals then left when things got tough. But left all the guys hanging.

I like your thinking... I wish they would just take your advice and lets move on

Why don't the 2 of you just quit now. At least the Chicago guys stick together. They voted and that should be that. Let's see more management cuts starting with $bills job then start clearing out some of the wasted space Area directors and VP's then I'll believe that we might be getting somewhere.

It sounds to me Mr. "johnson" that you just might be the one a "little" on the crybaby end of things because the Chicago guys had the balls to say stick it up your giggy bill, right along with your candy @$$ sidekick, that pos hoffa. The only thing left to do is throw this pos on a platter and serve it up to fed-x for dinner. Anyone could have seen this coming a long time ago when this pos union never even fought this buyout. Putting all your eggs in one basket, how STUPID is that! And with pos yellow's track record no less! Save your money boys and girls.PS: You're going to find out how much you need Chicago when the whole system implodes without them!

What a joke! Vote for the third time. This Union has turned into such a joke. The company just wants an excuse to blame the Teamsters when they shut the doors like they did at Red Star. Vote NO! Leave with your head held high and with a little dignity. The party is all but over. Good luck to all.

OK Hoffa earns $383,132 in 2008 and that’s according to TDU . Now that’s a person who's in charge of a 1,400,000 person Union . Now I know if I was in charge of the Union and had to put up with a bunch of truck driver I would ask for a lot more !! I know to us that seems like a lot but in the BIG PICTURE sure don’t seem like a lot of money !

Next week when the bondholders say no, none of this will matter, YRC will file bankrupcy and we will all go back to full pay

Great I feel so much better knowing my future is in the hands of geniuses. I hope they take the time to read some stuff about the economy and the financial on the company before voting. :Bondage:

You know I think you are right. I use to have a positive outlook on YRC. Thinking they just might pull out of it. But if they will close the whole company because of Chicago then I believe they have planned it all along. Just trying to milk it for all it's worth first. But either way people are still working and that means a great deal to.

All that big dumb texan T.J. cares about is getting paid his multiple teamster pensions (which by the way are still getting paid into even though he is the freight director) For the love of god T.J. have a little self respect and dignity and try actually doing your job. You remember your job, don't you? It's the one where you're supposed to stand up for the membership you big tough talking texan. I can't even believe it's come to this. Does Zollars just hook up the strings to your shoulders and dance you around like a marionette?

No if the bond holders vote no it is gone and not back to full pay it will be no pay because yrcqw has no money to operate on and in defalt no one will loan them anything and with 1.69 billion of debt and only 1 billion of assets no one will ever lond anything because it will be like just giving money away and one bond holder is wanting yrcw to pay them back what they owe them with interest and they dont even have the money to go to court with it so does that tell you how broke this company is
