Over the last few years many have become DISGRUNTLED with the situation at YRC. Is that DISGRUNTLED feeling waning, or gaining strength? Are you more or less DISGRUNTLED than you were a year or two ago? How is morale at your facility? Is there infighting among the drivers, senior versus junior?

Relatively happy with yellow but yrc makes me want to cry

I've got disgruntled !!!! - 4 of us received recall notices end of last week. I called and told them I would accept the recall, but I haven't given them a return date yet.
The last guy was working as a casual already, so he started back on Teusday. HE JUST GOT A LAYOFF LETTER TONIGHT! - 4 days work and layed off again. Boy Iam glad I didn't quit my job and return this week.

This is the best year I've ever had with this job, and I was with Roadway since before Yellow bought us. There are many of us in Portland and, I will bet, across the system, who are glad to see senior guys leave in droves for whatever reason. Say what you want, there are many of us who are loving the steady income and bids that have come our way after being laid off and on and sitting by the phone for so many years.

No pension crybaby here!

Going by your past posts SuperCourse, seems like it has been longer then that. How come your avatar keeps changing?

Sometimes things aren't the way they seem. Retired early 2010. I have no idea how you got the impression it was sooner. About the avatar, I don't know, it just happens, kind of creepy huh. Am I under investigation?

Under investigation, sometimes things aren't the way they seem. Creepy avatar, one clown is enough.

Oh mr. lover!!! You obviously plan on not getting old, or if you do, plan on dying on the job! But then again when you have someone else paying all your living expenses y'all can not worry about drivel like pensions.
Hope if you make it to old age you never fall going down the basement stairs and can't go in every night to strip trailers. I can hear you crying now, "Sure wish I had a pension, this broken leg will never be right again"!!!

PS: I do not believe you ever had to sit by the phone, no way would roadway or yrc let that happen to their #1 go getter(donut, bagel and coffee boxy boy)! I really do hope you stay working and yrc will make that July 15th payment, me and all the other retirees thank you for your donations! xxxoooxxx

Central States said I can have mine when I'm SIXTY-FIVE instead of 52 which I am now!
