ccms being moved around runs will be relined. some not all centers laying off this is going to be ugly all i can say is hold on tight.

Ccm means customer center manager.

Redshirt.....where are you getting your info? On what facts do you base your statement?

Well it could be or not be true but, I want to know if the rumor is true that dovetailing was done away with last June or July? If so you could be right it will be ugly if it actually happens. My SCM seems unwilling to talk about it... he refers me to the Regional HR office. No thanks I already draw enough attention to myself.

How many guys had to move due to the merger?
And then maybe have to move again in another realignment?
I know one guy who's already moved 2 times in 2 years.

I know one guy that moved and is staying with relatives cause he doesn't work enough to get an apartment

As I understand it...Yes it is true.....After the merger announcement late last year the regional manager (sorry I forget his name) visited our center, I spoke to him about how the dovetailing was being handled during the merger. He answered my questions and followed it up saying, after the Merger there will be NO MORE DOVETALING in the future, per some rule they had put in place.....

Sad.
And yet the kool-aid drinkers continue to defend this scumbag company.
I know that in Harrison there's a whiteboard with a model to turn this company into FedEx Ground/Custom Critical.
They've been discussing this for the past year or so.
Not sure if this will ever be implemented, but it's an idea that's been talked about numerous times.
I feel sorry for the kool-aid drinkers...like Jesus said "they know not what they do."
INRI...dummies loyal to this low-life company.

And you have seen this white board? O wait you are held in such high esteem by the upper managment in Harrison and Memphis that they don't make a move without consulting with you to see if it a good or bad move. If you say its bad they go ahead and do it. And no I'm not drinking kool-aid, I for one think that the merger and subsequent dovetails of juniior drivers over senior drivers has been screwed from day one. Drivers getting let go and then hiring new ones, alot of the things that have happened since September don't make any sense to me. Was also told your job is to drive your truck and collect a pay check, so that is what I'm going to do. Document everything so I can cover my azz, keep my head down and try not to get splattered when the :::shit:::starts flying and in many areas it already has.

Wait a minute. Did I hear this right? FedEx is going to make a change in April? Wow, to think FedEx is going to change something. Come on people. The real news would be if FedEx was not going to change something in April. Can anyone name one month in the last several years when they didn't change something?
Lets face it. All FedEx is anymore is a toy for Fred to play with. He made his fortune, and now he's playing with his ideas to see if anything works. Kind of like a kid squeezing a bug to see if it squirms.
I wonder how long it's going to take until everyone realizes that. Drivers have gone from earning $80,000 a year 2 years ago to making 50 to 60 now. They've taken holidays, personal days, certain detention pays, maintenance on the vehicles, and on and on over just the last year. And yet there are many who still worship the ground Fred walks on.
You people need to wake up. I still see many posts here where drivers are touting how great it is that they haven't had to take a pay cut. I don't know where you're working, but it isn't FedEx. at least if you're going to work here, do it with an open mind. Don't be blind. Just like with the union thread that's going on now. I also am not in favor of a union, but I do think the drivers need to get together and let them know it's enough now already.
O.k., I'm done ranting. you can all hate me now. But while you do, remember, I'm not saying anything that isn't true. Be safe out there.

Way I see it is....1st there was a statement here not so long ago...BIG changes and anouncement coming in march....now it's BIG changes coming in April....woohooo....what was that Ol commercial...anticipation is making me wait....LOL...

You guys need an awakening. I stopped letting this company's BS get the best of me. I have weathered every slow year, every change, every new CM, every realignment, the merger and so on. And i'm not high in seniority, but because i have made it so far these years, i stopped allowing this company to get under my skin. Now, i just adapt to each situation that i am confronted with almost daily with this or any company. Go with the flow! You'll sleep better and you won't be so depressed. I WILL NOT ALLOW SITUATIONS TO GET THE BEST OF ME. This is just a job, I do it to the best of my ability and at the end of the day I get in my car, go home and spend what time I have with my loved ones, in a good mood and not cranky. I let management worry about it. So, sit back, relax, do your job and ENJOY THE SHOW!! Or maybe the SOAP OPERA!!!

it's just another way to **** off people and **** them off enough to walk away that way they dont have to lay off as many. corp. companys dont care about you at all. this company is not AF or viking anymore where they cared about there people.
