Take a screenshot of that poll. After the ballots
Are counted the results will look the opposite
Of the poll. That's my opinion. Hope I'm wrong

Interesting...........I happened to skim over one of the propagandda flyers I've been getting flooded with and the last thing it says on it is A YES VOTE WILL POSITION US FOR SUCCESS!! If you oppose the proposal, please consider abstaining to allow your fellow employees to protect their jobs, their families and their benefits. Is that a load of crap or what????? Encouraging people with an opinion that may differ from theirs to not vote. So much for the Democratic process. These are the people we work for. Embarrasing.

( I see KK also posted something similar to this in a different thread....sorry)

I feel so bad for all my fellow employees. I was fortunate enough to be able to retire this Dec. And I will not have to put up with anymore of this bull****. Good luck to all you guys and girls.

hope they screw up and send me one so I could vote hell no

I do not disagree with your sentiment, LB, but please let me bring it to everyone's attention, that if you alter the ballot, it may be thrown out.

Do not write ANYTHING other than what is designated, on your ballot.

Nothing like a "hanging chad" to screw things up...

That is a very good point. I've been to a couple of ballot counts at the local level and there are always some who write comments on there and even those who blank out their name and address on the outer envelope. Either of these actions=vote doesn't get counted.

The poll right now gives me a fair bit of confidence that this is going to pass.

Little bit about polling that I learned from reading about Nate Silver. It all depends on random sampling and big data. The people on this board aren't random, and overwhelmingly represent a small and active group of employees who seem 'slightly' predisposed to be critical of the company and the agreements. Remember you only comment on something when you feel very strongly about it. Combine that with the fact that a lot of people here are ineligible to actually cast ballots and who knows how it will turn out?

Although I do not agree with you on many thing you are right about this poll. This is a small sampling of the YRC employees and can be way off.

people are so fu&&ed up they are acutualy beliving the 750 bonus is like getting a week of vacation back since they want to work it anyway pissed me off sad to say Kearny nj seems to be leaning to yes

No. No. No.
Don't let these corporate bullies continue to push us around.
I think a no vote will make them find another way to come up with the needed funds.
We did our part, now it's time for them to earn their keep.
THE GIVING BACK WILL NEVER STOP UNTIL WE STAND UP TO THEM.
Worse case sannario, Bankruptcy. Which is almost certain sooner or later anyway.
We all worked to hard and deserve the dignity that will come with throwing this back to them.
SHAME ON THE I B T FOR EVEN PRESENTING US WITH THIS!
God Bless us all.
