He does have a point though, there are alot
of a$$ kissers at Dallas....to the point, that
should management make a quick stop, one
of them might wind up where the sun don't
shine....there are alot of leeches there too,
that just do their 6 bills per hour, and that
is all....then there are others like us, that do
more than 6, cause we have families to
feed, and "need" our jobs....Dallas needs a
complete overhaul.....from the bottom to
the top....
 
OK lets start from the top and at the bottom and meet in the middle and go from there. They had a dockstand worker couse out a supervisor last night and all he did was walk away and later sent him home.
 
From what I understand and have heard, was
that the dockworker, who also worked the
dockstand, would choose his breakouts, and
would wind up with 80 to 100 bills....he had
his production in hand, but the other poor
b-stards, had to fool with chalk boards,
and assorted hand freight....the rumor I
heard, is that he was asked to rework a
trailer, and he got upset and just started
going down the dock yelling and screaming
obscenities....that did not go, and by the
look of things, it went up to the TM and I
do not think he will have a job....the 2 sups
that did apparently did nothing, need to go,
if the inmates are running the asylum...if
he stays, morale will die....if he goes, maybe
the sups will get some respect....What about
the supervisor that walked out.....what will
happen to him....is he gone....will he come
back....who knows....

We will wait and see....the drama continues

Hey for the 89 crew. Did I hear correct when big "D",as some like to call him,on the 3rd floor was heading out to the dock? Is it true?
 
Rumor is that line haul in Dallas is changing,
Dennis is going to another position, and the
people left, will will be going to different,
schedules....
Don't know much about line haul, but I do
know that Reyna is the best they have...
she should have Ebert's job..just my
opinion....

there were no threats made. i just think that if you do not like your job that you should move on to something that you really enjoy doing,no matter what the pay is.maybe estes is not the best company to work for but it is better than getting .30 a mile from some companies. last but not least,it cpuld be worse,i could be as miserable as you are and do nothing but b##ch all of the time.

One of the best moves 89 has made, aside from Miller going back to the dock (what a complete bonehead)! And I agree, if Reyna and Carrie were to leave, you might as well close down linehaul all together in Dallas.

a Ops managers job...it is between him and
another supervisor...Hope he doesn't get it.
The dock needs someone to fix it, not run
it like a boot camp....

boot camp may be what is needed to fix it. do stuff by the numbers to train the dock workers properly. and when they start learning then you relax the rules till they start screwing up agian. then back to the numbers :D

Yep, Dennis went to W & I, Mark moved into his slot and Charlie took Marks shift. Jessica took Charlie's shift (God help us). And thank God that bonehead Jim went back to the dock. Every time I got in to Dallas he screwed us.
