Here across the border from beerfd we had about 4 inches on top of cars by noon. The worse we've had put the whole county and a few around us out of business for two weeks. Telephones split like toothpicks and electric companies from other areas came and worked their behinds off for nearly two weeks. The snow was around 3-4 ft deep. Pretty deep for the deep south.

8.5 inches...doesn't seem like a lot, but I've never seen snow like this and I've been here all my life..

News just said we had 9.7 inches so far.

Different news channels are saying different amounts....I heard 8.5 and also 9.7 inches...

We're not closed down or anything, but we haven't had snow like this in North TX in about 10 years...it's pretty bad out right now..

Today, we had the heaviest single day snowfall in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area in history (since they've been keeping records)

Ive always thought Dallas weather was similar to Los Angeles weather....
