I assume you are referring to the NLR terminal. The hospital owned by Baptist Medical Systems bought 165 acres on the west side of Springhill Drive. The hospital has been expanded at least once & the surgery clinic was added later. Several medical offices have opened on the east side of Springhill that are connected to Baptist. Cracker Barrel & the hotels/motels are on land leased from Baptist for 99 years. I haven't heard about the hospital wanting the property but they certainly have the funds if they want it. For what is supposedly non profit medical care is a profitable business.
